A small place with a big heart. The food was outstanding. We had the fajitas (beef, chicken, and shrimp). It was served on skewers that were hung in a special cabinet that was brought to the table. Under each skewer was a special sauce for that particular serving. Our waitress( Rosario) was very attentive and was working hard on her English. The meal came with a unique desert that was brought to the table by the chef....see photos. Everything presented was eatable. The place was small and unassuming, but I came with an element of class that sets it above the rest

This place is absolutely stunning—a beautiful establishment with impeccable decor. The staff is immaculate, and the servers treat you like family. They welcome you warmly and provide exquisite recommendations. I had a wonderful time here with a friend. You won’t find authentic Mexican cuisine like this anywhere else.

Hidden gem off FM1314. Homemade authentic mexican food. Waldomero and Paola took great care of us. Waldomero suggested a special off menu which was chicken, beef, shrimp, cheese all grilled and onions and peppers with rice, beans, guacomole, cheese, pico and homemade flour/corn tortillas. We ordered it for one And was plenty for us price was 29. They also have one for 2 for 49. Finished off with wonderful churros with chocolate dipping sauce and flan (good but not my favorite). They gave us plenty of chips and sauce too. They said they have been open for a year. They do a valentines special and crawfish on Sat. Simple but delicious! This was our first time but not our last! Google says to turn on small road off 1314 but the restaurant is on the left directly off FM1314.

This place is perfect. As a non Spanish speaking person, I’m grateful that they have someone who will come & explain the menu in English. Also, they can accommodate food allergies & cooking preferences.

We came for Valentine's Day. They had a delicious special. The staff is very kind and attentive. The atmosphere was good and the food was great.

La Taqueria Mexican Grill is a captivating restaurant that I discovered accidentally. The lunch was delicious and the ambience is charming. The waitress, Carmen, was remarkably attentive! Next time we go to La Taqueria Mexican Grill, it will be either Friday and Saturday night for karaoke. Look for the big CONROE sign near the 1314 Nursery.
